There is a breathing exercise in one of the chapters. It's purpose is to draw the focus inward toward the self and to be aware of the entire body and the space it occupies. The second part of the exercise requires someone to sit in the center of a spell circle. The circle draws all elements to oneself and provides an awareness of the world. We must be aware both of ourselves and our link to the world to truly understand.
